Our standard cancellation policy

Should you cancel your booking less than 48 hours prior to your date of arrival or in the event of you not turning up, we will debit the cost of your first night of stay against your credit card or retain your first-night deposit.

Our non-standard cancellation policy

This policy applies to any bookings made during the following periods:

• New Year (last week in December – first week in January)
• Six Nation Rugby International weekends (selected weekends in February and March)
• Edinburgh Festival (all of August)
• Local Holiday Weekends

During these peak periods, should you cancel your booking within 3 weeks of your date of arrival we will debit the cost of your first night of stay against your credit card or retain your first-night deposit. In the event of no show or in the event of cancellation within 48 hours of the date of arrival the Guest House reserves the right to debit the booking in full.

For bookings cancelled in advance of either policy commencing, your card details will not be used in any way or any deposit made will be refunded in full.
